I’m so happy you’re here! I’m Amanda Triggs, the founder of Reading with Mrs. Triggs. As a former special education teacher & current mom of littles; I created Reading with Mrs. Triggs with one goal in mind: to meet children of all abilities right where they are, and help them grow as learners through creative, engaging, & structured literacy lessons. It is our mission to create and execute an individualized plan for each learner that will help them soar above and beyond their goals.

The intake call is our first step. We’ll touch base about your child, why you think they’d benefit from tutoring, and figure out where we fit in. When you’re ready, schedule the call at a time that works for you.

The student assessment takes place after the initial inquiry call. After the assessment takes place, you’ll receive a true and detailed report of where your child is in their literacy journey.

Assessment

After the student takes the assessment, you’ll receive an individualized plan with reading and writing goals We’ll discuss this, along with any other important details, and create a tutoring plan.

Conference

Once the assessment is complete and parent conference is held, tutoring sessions will begin. We offer a variety of tutoring packages, and during the parent conference we’ll discuss the recommended plan for your child.

  • $75 and includes a forty minute assessment session with learning goals followed by a fifteen minute parent phone call to review the results.

  • $240, includes four thirty minute sessions.

  • $480, eight thirty minute sessions and one progress report.

  • $960, sixteen thirty minute sessions and two progress reports. This is our most popular package!

  • $1,440, twenty-four thirty minute sessions, and three progress reports.

  • Yes, we are an approved ESA vendor in Arizona. Many families use their ESA funds to fully or partially cover the cost of tutoring.

    We are also a vendor for North Carolina (ESA+), South Carolina(ESTF), Florida(SUFS) Wyoming(ESA), Arkansas(EFA), Utah(UFA) and New Hampshire (EFA).
